There are a few different options when it comes to treating your lines and wrinkles and all will be discussed during your consultation. We offer Daxxify and Botox with Daxxify being having longer-lasting results which means fewer injections as well as fewer office visits. Studies have shown that while BOTOX injections last up to four months after one session, DAXXIFY can last 6 – 9 months in the same area.

Our “BOTOX” alternative is an attractive option for individuals who may not have the time or resources to get treatments every 3 – 4 months. Patients won't have to worry about frequent appointments to keep their wrinkles at bay.  The cost for these treatments varies widely but a good baseline for botox is around $400 and for dermal filler in the lips is $600.

What is Sugaring?
Sugaring has been practiced since the time of the Egyptians. It is a combination of sugar, lemon, and water and is blended to make a sticky paste that clings to the hair. It is comparable to waxing, although many say it is less painful and kinder to the skin.

In contrast to waxing, sugaring eliminates the natural hair at the root without affecting the surrounding skin. Thus, it typically causes less irritability and is softer than waxing. Contrary to wax commonly used for waxing, sugaring is hypoallergenic which causes much less irritation to the skin.
I have never had a Brazilian and I know Brazilians are one of the most popular services at the spa. So why do people get Brazilian sugaring done?

There are a variety of reasons people tell us they like to have a Brazilian. The number one reason we hear is cleanliness. Each client can choose to leave as much (or as little) hair as they want on their body.

How do I prepare for my first Brazilian Sugaring?

We prefer for clients to not remove their hair by any means (including shaving) for two weeks prior to their first appointment. We need the hair to be at least 1/4 inch long. (About the size of a long grain of rice) in order for the sugar paste to be able to grab it. Sugar paste does not stick to the skin, it wraps around the hair follicle and gently pulls it out. So the hair needs to be long enough for the sugar paste to wrap around it. We also ask that clients cleanse and gently exfoliate 12-24 hours prior to their appointment and do not use any lotions or oils on the area of hair removal the day of their appointment. You will feel better getting clean beforehand but we will have wipes as well for when you arrive.

Does Sugaring hurt?
Sugaring is less painful than wax to most clients as the sugar does not adhere to the skin. Most people find that the first appointment can be uncomfortable and from that point on, if you stay consistent with your scheduling, the pain will drastically decline each appointment. Ususally by your 3rd or 4th you won’t even be thinking about the pain. With sugaring, the hair growth usually thins out by about 40% after the first appointment
which ultimately leads to a much more pleasant experience. Regardless you will be glad you do it!!

What is Lip Blush? Lip blush can be used to enhance the natural color of your lips or to create a new look altogether. Lip blush is often used to give the lips a healthy, flushed appearance and it can last for over a year with proper care.

So how does it work? A tiny group of needles pick up pigment and deposit it into the upper layers of the skin. It can be used to correct asymmetry of the lips, even out tone and help make the lips appear fuller. Unlike regular tattooing, lip blush is designed to fade and this helps give a very soft, natural effect whereas traditional tattoo's use much stronger pigments and are implanted much deeper in the skin.

What does the process involve?

The Lip Blush process usually takes around 90 minutes depending on the extent of the treatment, not including your consultation. First, we will clean and prep your lips for the procedure. Next you will look at colors, we recommend bringing in and choosing a color similar to your everyday lipstick. We will then draw on a shape - this is where we will work to create a better shape, and correct any asymmetry that you may have. Finally we will begin to implant the pigment into the skin using a delicate shading technique. To finish you will be given aftercare instructions on how to look after your new Lip Blush, and an aftercare balm will be applied to sooth your freshly tattooed lips.

Hydrated lips are easier to work on, and if the pigment is easier to implant your appointment will be shorter and you'll feel much more comfortable. Please be using moisturizing balms or chapstick

How long does lip blush last? Lip blush can last anywhere from around 12-18 months, but this does depend on a few factors such as aftercare and lifestyle. If you drink alcohol, smoke or spend a lot of time in the sun or on sunbeds then your Lip Blush will fade quicker. Another thing to consider is the skin care you use. If you use lots of exfoliating products this will cause the pigment to fade quicker. Generally speaking, with proper aftercare your Lip Blush could last up to 18 months which makes it perfect for someone who wants an alternative to injectable lip fillers.

What does the healing process involve? You will be given Lip Blush aftercare instructions at your appointment, and it’s very important to follow these instructions. It’s normal for the lips to look swollen and red straight after the procedure, but this will subside within a few days. During this time they will be sensitive so be careful when drinking hot drinks and eating spicy or salty foods. The color will also be dark immediately after the treatment, during the healing process it may even get darker, but once fully healed the color will soften and lighten by about 50%. Please don’t judge the lips on the immediate results and they will change considerably throughout the healing process.

A few days after your appointment your lips will begin to feel itchy and very dry, just like if your lips were chapped. It is super important that you don't pick or pull at the dry skin, no matter how annoying it may be! Doing this could negatively affect your healed result. You will be given an aftercare balm to apply during the healing process, this will help to keep your lips moisturised and alleviate any itchiness you may feel.

We recommend you avoid any sun exposure, heavy exercise, swimming, saunas or steam rooms for two weeks after your appointment. If you plan on getting any injectable treatments we advise waiting until 4 weeks after the second session of your treatment has been completed so that your lips are fully healed.

After about 5 weeks your lips will be fully healed and you will be due to return for your touch up - this session allows us to assess how the colour has healed, and reinforce any areas that need a little extra work.

In order to get the most out of your Lip Blush it is important to keep them moisturised and protected from the sun - we recommend using an SPF lip balm to make sure they stay looking their best for as long as possible!

As a necessary precaution, if you have ever had a cold sore in your life, you will be required to take an anti-viral prescribed by your doctor (i.e. Valtrex).
